The one with the black glasses owner

Everybody knows who this man is. Lots of talents, billionaire, amazing designer, fascinating photographer, but do you know how this man handles his runaway decorating? Surely you'd like to find out!

Chanel is one of the most popular and well-known brand among every age. Do they really need to make any advertising? I mean, what the point of spending your millions to invite Florence ( a really popular singer), filming Keira Knightley  or making zillion of paper decorations, if your brand new bags disappear from the stores the moment they get there?

Well, I guess the advertising is needed to stimulate customers to buy the exact same things their idols own, to distract youth from cheap accessorizes and to make the business flourish. Plus, without any ad, everybody will just forget the brand, which is not in Mr. Lagerfeld's plans.

So, let's get to the topic of my new post - the runaway design. I'd like to show you how Chanel makes it's art through using an amount of topics in their catwalks. See the building above? That's Grand Palais, which is situated in the heart of Paris. Wonder who is rents it every year? Yep, Karl Lagerfeld. This astonishing and giant palace is used to hold the annual haute couture and prêt-à-porter fashion shows. Here are some of them:

Bet every girl wishes she could ride this carousel! What I wish even more? To see that fashion show!

Under the Sea & Florence - this is the title of the gorgeous show. Can you imagine how far the imagination of runaway designers can get?

As you see, Chanel designers do not only set up a show in a palace, they are organising a theme, which coincides with the main motive of clothes' design.

A great idea + astonishing decorations + famous stars = success.

Still, there is an amount of other places, where Karl Lagerfeld sets up his shows, like Hôtel du Cap and  Pavilion Cambon–Capucines.

They say the sky is the limit. Not sure that it works out for Mister Lagerfeld. Sure he can get even higher.

New collection is like a breath of fresh air, and looks like Chanel gets the concept of the saying great.

So, Chanel stakes on creativity and never looses. If you've ever been at ordinary fashion shows, you know how dull their design is. And when you are on board of fashion-show plane or see fishes and shells around you - it makes the mood for the show. The pretty image of the runaway and amazing clothes are showing you the life you'll immediately want to try on. And here you are caught in tight marketing nets.
However you can be sure from now on, that paying for the new Chanel bag, you are partly supply the next runaway design ideas.
