Winter is coming and my new digest is covering all the fashion and non-fashion events, which took place last week.
The winners of the BFA 2012
One of the biggest shows in the fashion world was held in London - British Fashion Awards. Who was the biggest winner? Stunning Stella McCartney! She managed to gain Designer Brand and Designer of the Year awards at once. Bravo Stella!
Preparations for the BFA
It's All about Christmas
As Christmas is approaching it's high time for holiday's decorations to be revealed. Christian Louboutin unveils its Christmas window display, featuring a festive red-soled tree. What about a star on top? A glittering shoe, of course!
A gold Disney Christmas tree was presented at Ginza Tanaka jewellery store in Tokyo, Japan. The ornate piece is 2.4 metres tall, weighs 43kg and features silhouettes of famous Disney characters - and is being auctioned with a starting bid of $4.3 million. Wonder, who is that generous to put it under the Christmas tree for thee kids?
ELFridges for Selfridges
Thestore has launched a bespoke shopping service to help customers through the Christmas season. The festively titled 'Elfridges initiative features a host of helpful elves dotted throughout the Oxford Street store, on hand to make present purchasing as stress-free as possible. The stylish Santa's helpers - the boys are decked out in dapper suits, while the girls are in red Vivienne Westwood dresses and roller skates - will assist shoppers with everything from finding the perfect present, to carrying bags, hailing taxis and gift-wrapping.
Speaking of...
Alexander McQueen unveils its first ever Christmas special edition bag. The limited-edition long knucklebox clutch in ivory nappa leather features a snowflake-inspired design encrusted with Swarovski crystals. The Christmas clutch, £1845, is available to buy exclusively at Alexander McQueen stores. Hope I'll owe it one day.
Is "C" for Cambridge or Catherine?
I just can't help posting my fashion idol being gorgeous at the city, where she is a Duchess. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge traveled to Cambridge for a royal visit by train. Actually, their train left from the exactly same station, the one from the Harry Potter did.
Fascinating Catherine had a new hair cut and a stunning smile. Not to talk about her stylish pick of the day!
xoxo
